Kalamazoo is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kalamazoo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Wedel's has the most comprehensive and widest collection of plants for all my gardening needs. If you're looking for something unique- they have plenty of choices for your landscaping and houseplants needs.

We love Wedels especially their “Wacky Wednesdays” deals! Which can’t be beat! We drive about 30 miles to get there! Today we went extremely early when they first opened! The deal hadn’t arrived yet? The employees were so very nice and patient as some of the customers were NOT happy! We had to wait 10 minutes for them to arrive, be counted, and transferred to the floor! The employees were so so professional! We will be back!

Never disappointed here. The plants, birdhouses, seeds and more is the best here! Staff is always willing to help with expert advice and guidance on plant choices. There is also decor and in Autumn the tulip bulbs are huge!!

I live on the other side of the country, called Wedel’s after noon their time and asked for a same day delivery of flowers to my sister. I described what I would like the bouquet to look like and the amount of money I want to spend and even in the frigid cold weather, they were able to get an absolutely beautiful bouquet of flowers to my sister. The designer was allowed to choose how to put it together following my guidelines and just nailed it. Very happy!

Wonderful nursery where you can buy all of your needs for your lawn and flower garden. They can design for you as well. We've been here 3 times already this spring! They have the best selection around and very friendly staff. Today when we came we were asked by a nice older man if we needed any help and we politely said we thought we were all set with what we wanted to buy. We did pick up a few things but then decided we did need a little more help in deciding so my husband went looking for that guy (even though a couple other staff were nearby). He found him while I looked for a particular plant we knew we wanted. This man was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful as he showed us around, told us about various plants we were interested in, and made great suggestions. He helped us for a long time, and as we were thanking him for all of his help, he told us he was the senior Wedel! (2nd generation). We were surprised and yet not. I grew up here and this is another reason we moved back - the people. For the most part people here are kind, generous, helpful and treat each other as equals. That's how it should be everywhere but it isn't most places. I wouldn't buy flowers anywhere else
